What a week it’s been for Salamander Cookshop; three of its Garlic Crushers in the Daily Mail Weekend Magazine, its Paring Knives on channel4.com’s ‘must-have picnic accessories’ and finally its Pizza Scissors and Onion Chopper featured by Phil Vickery on ITV’s This Morning – not bad for less than seven days!!!

Last night, Joanne went along to a meeting of the Local Action Group in Portland, to support Mike Burks from The Gardens Group and a small, but very excited, bunch of lovely people from The Whitehouse in Sherborne.  This is a fantastic project which we are involved in but we are sworn to secrecy – more about that in a later blog when we can reveal all………

Also, plans are moving on for judging Deli of the Year which we are organising www.delioftheyear.co.uk – over 4,000 votes so far and it is going to be an exciting few months until the winner is revealed in September.  See June issue of delicious magazine for more ……
