It’s a celebration!

Stuart Woolvin, a much loved chef at Dart Marina was celebrating 30 years at the Hotel last week – and it was quite some celebration. Head chef Tom Woods prepared a very special dinner for Stuart and his wife Mandy at Wildfire (Dart Marina’s bistro).  Stuart and Mandy were also presented with a European holiday to celebrate and our Abbie has even helped make Stuart a local celeb! After appearing in the Herald Express, Dartmouth Chronicle, Caterer and Hotelkeeper,, on the Eat Out website, and interviewed on Radio Devon – he’s now being recognised in the street!

Anna Blewett from Great British Food has made her way down from Colchester to visit the beautiful Godminster Farm – a far cry from Essex!  Nickie has popped along to the farm, fully kitted out with her hunter wellies on, as they are learning how to milk cows with Richard (who owns Godminster Vintage). It’s not all hard work though – after that they will be making their own soft cheeses, and of course sampling some of the delicious organic cheddars that Godminster produces.

Joanne has been working with Olives Et Al since the very first day she started Positive PR (well maybe not the very first – I think she had a few days setting up the office and sorting out the phone lines and stuff! – but it was certainly in the early days!) and the lovely olives … Et Al have always been incredibly well received by journalists. More recently I’ve been helping her get some top food bloggers to try – click here to see what Margaret who writes the Kitchen Delights blog thought of OEA.
