What a lovely pair!

To say a big thank you to Joanne and Katie for all the hard work they’ve been doing, the guys from Cornishware made them their very own Cornishware mugs. As you can see they were both delighted with their gifts – there is however a severe case of ‘mug envy’ now at PPR. Even my ‘Best son in the World’ mug is looking distinctly drab in comparison!

Last week Abbie received a very special delivery through the post (no not more shoes from ASOS!) it was a big box of fresh veggies picked from Bickham Farm in Devon, home to Rod & Ben’s organic veggie boxes and seasonal soups. Jam packed with carrots, pak choi, cauliflower, cabbage, potatoes, tomatoes on the vine, spring onions, onions, lettuce, marrows, spinach, peas…. all the veggies that go in to the soup pot to make Rod & Ben’s soups. Now all Abbie has to do is get chopping, peeling, and grating – I think I’ll stick to the amazing ready made soups Rod sent through!

Joanne has been hard at work promoting the Vineyards – Annual Charity Wine Fair, taking place on Wednesday 21st July 2010. Over the last five years the event has raised more than £12,000 for local and national charities. The Wine Fair takes place in the beautiful grounds of Sherborne Castle and is a great way to raise money for good causes.
