One of the best things about working with producers of great food is to see the reactions of people who try their products, often for the first time. Whether it’s journalists or bloggers we send out samples full of confidence, usually because we’ve tried (and loved) everything we’ve sent!

Denhay’s dry cured smoked streaky bacon, which just won the Taste of Excellence Award for outstanding flavour at the Pig and Poultry Marketing Awards, is a “perfect porcine” example. It’s all very well writing about it but anyone that tastes it will love it……..well maybe not vegetarians……..but I wouldn’t rule it out!!   Wish we had a scratch and sniff blog.   

The Culinary Travels blog says it better than I ever could…… and to really appreciate it get down to your local shop, supermarket or deli and try it for yourself!

Fudges’ biscuits are also universally well loved.  We see first hand what goes into baking each and every Fudges’ biscuit, flapjack and cheese straw so we know how good they are. Click here for a blog on Fudges Sweet Biscuits which are divine. But as I said don’t just take my word for it……
