Getting a secondwind…………

I’ve been down to Weymouth to take some pictures of Secondwind Watersports’ new Volkswagen Transporter, which was sponsored by Loders Motor Group. Secondwind is a fantastic local company that provides all manner of taster sessions and tuition and Loders helped them with sponsorship for their van to help get more people out onto the water. Secondwind is in a fantastic spot just outside Weymouth (shown in the pic) and as much as I love working in Sherborne, I was quite jealous of the views they enjoy every day from their shop!

Over the past year we have all been working with our clients on new social media activity and it is an area that we expect to grow even more. Katie has been working on competitions with bloggers; Briony has been working on a campaign for facebook, not to mention the work Nickie does chatting to the ‘great and the good’ in the world of beer blogging! Including sending some a box of badger goodies, with a personalised glass and rugby shirt as well – click here to see beer blogger Mark Dredge’s pic of his Badger goodies on twitpic.

That’s all for now!  I’m just off to meet Dan from Blackacre Farm Eggs to help organise his first ever egg rolling event. In the UK the tradition of rolling decorated eggs down grassy hills goes back hundreds of years and is known as “pace-egging”, from the old English ‘Pasch’ meaning Easter. Starting this year with a school in Gillingham Blackacre is reviving the tradition! As you can see above, Briony and Joanne are already practicing in our car park!
