Christmas at The Eastbury

Last night was our Positive PR Christmas Party and it went off with a bang! After some relaxing drinks in the  The Eastbury Hotel’s smart lounge, we made our way through to the restaurant.  As each party, at their respective tables, pulled Christmas crackers and obligingly donned their paper hats Joanne had other ideas for our group!

For more about the party click here…

We each had our very own hat ranging from the festive (Katie’s Santa in a chimney) to the ridiculous (Mandy’s head up a penguin!). We then exchanged some not so secret Santa presents (as no one could hold back their amusement at watching their gift be unwrapped!)

We also opened a 2010 calendar each to ensure we are on top of all press activity for the year ahead. There were various relevant themes for each calendar including my Extraordinary Chickens for 2010, Nickie’s Hunky Fireman, and Mandy’s Sock Monkeys!

After our starters, which were accompanied by some polite conversation, we later enjoyed some similarly quiet and understated fun in the form of a fabulous dinner followed by ballroom dancing…….. of sorts, Joanne’s husband Martin trying on his new hat, and me trying on Nickie’s new coat for size !
