Down on the Farm…

This week Briony and I went to see Dan Wood at Blackacre Farm Eggs to welcome the arrival of Dan’s 4000 new hens. As you can see from the picture I came fully prepared for the country life! After stepping in a lot of good old Somerset mud I decided to roll my (brand new!) trousers up – which provided great amusement for Dan, Briony and the pecking hens!

Brian Keene, MD of Loders Motor Group handed over the keys to a Hyundai Santa Fe for Royal Navy Historic Flight for the 2010 air display season. Brian is a keen pilot himself (no pun intended!) and historic flight do great work ensuring Naval heritage is preserved.

We’ve been enjoying the start of advent this year even more than usual because we have a beautiful House of Dorchester chocolate calendar, but it can get a little tense over who opens it on what day! The all chocolate calendar is simply 25 creamy milk chocolates wrapped in retro Christmas paper one for each day of advent. We’re not the only ones enjoying the Christmas treats; Bernadette Fallon has featured the calendar on her ‘all about you’ blog. Click here to see what she thinks.
