A tasty week at the Grain Loft

Nickie has this week started work with Respect Organics. The family company makes wonderful organic cakes including carrot cake, banana loaf, ginger crush loaf and chocolate cake. Of course before starting on the work she needed some independent assessment of the products – it’s a tough job but somebody has to do it!

Mandy also brought back a very important mission from Dorset Cereals. Dorset Cereals is currently developing a new product (secret mission here!) it involves Honey and required some detailed evaluation…….that’s tasting again.  Everyone enjoyed the job (except Joanne who goes a bit odd around honey!) but as you can see Hollie and I really threw ourselves into the task!

Amongst all the arduous taste testing! the main event of the week was definitely Katie’s birthday. Not a single member of the team forgot; well she had been dropping anvil size hints for around 11 months and 29 days! We bought Katie a few choice gifts including a pink a colander, but by far her favourite were her new Cozy Boots – which are basically slippers that you can heat in the microwave, ensuring that her feet are always toastie!
